Preventing Targeted Lethal Violence on College Campuses Online

This presentation will provide an overview of research findings and case studies to help illustrate the psychological factors that drive offenders into acts of targeted mass violence against schools, colleges, and universities. The audience will be provided with several examples of pre-attack offender behaviors from actual mass casualty events. The best-practices approach in identifying persons-of-concern and mitigating the threats they pose before they attack an institution will be explained.
