Hybrid Course Mode Discussion Online
This discussion will provide a brief overview of recommended best practices, followed by time for asking questions and sharing ideas. Please register for sessions you plan to attend.
Hybrid: The course schedule is modified to meet the entire class in person half of the scheduled time, and then remote instruction is scheduled for the other half. The instructor will identify a synchronous schedule within the assigned time and plan for asynchronous activities and assignments to support learning. Asynchronous delivery typically refers to instruction occurring at various times based on when materials (e.g., videos) are accessed by students. This works well with T/TH courses as a single room can be used in a time slot for two different courses. A course cannot be both hybrid and A/B. The remote portion can be either synchronous or asynchronous.
