What Is a New Drupal Features Web Training?
The Web Team in the Marketing and Communications department is preparing a new website design to launch in mid-October 2018. To use a number of new web features, the Web Team recommends that all current Drupal Web Publishers attend a training session on the new features.
Drupal is NOT going away:
Drupal will remain the web content management system that Fredonia uses to edit and manage our redesigned public website. However, we have added new features and page elements to improve the visual impact of the Fredonia website.
When will these New Drupal Features training sessions be offered?
Training on the new Fall 2018 Drupal website features will be provided from Monday October 22, 2018 through Friday, November 16, 2018. Trainings are provided in collaboration with the Professional Development Center (PDC).
Who should attend a New Drupal Features training session?
All current Drupal Web Publishers.
I'm not currently a Drupal Web Publisher, but I need to get Drupal Training. When can I get training?
The Web Team will offer the Drupal Basics trainings for new Web Publishers at the beginning of the Spring 2019 semester.
Why? All Drupal Web Publishers will have editing access on the day that the new site launches in mid-October, however the Web Team strongly encourages Web Publishers to attend a training session to become familiar with the new features.
